Silverchain’s new partnership with One to Another
A new partnership between in-home care provider Silverchain Private Care and Victoria’s retired living operator One to Another is giving older Australians the opportunity to stay longer in their own home environment.
The collaboration positions Silverchain Private Care as the preferred provider of in-home care on a fee for service basis to residents at One to Another’s three retired living villages in Melbourne’s bayside suburbs of Brighton and Sandringham.
The new partnership comes as Silverchain Private Care marks its second year of providing quality in-home care in Victoria. This operation is part of the not-for-profit organisation Silverchain Group –Australia’s leading in-home care specialist for 130 years.
Silverchain Private Care’s Director Dot Fuller said the new partnership was an example of Silverchain Private Care continuing to meet the growing needs of Victorians who seek to self-fund personalised care in the comfort of their own homes.
“Silverchain Private Care’s comprehensive suite of health and aged care services offers a complete solution for those seeking to self-fund care at home to support their health, happiness and wellbeing.”
Silverchain Private Care uses a self-funded model of care that offers greater flexibility and choice, with no wait lists, tests, or government assessments. This enables fast access to immediate, short-term, or ongoing care.
Ms Fuller said Silverchain’s attentive clinical care managers worked closely with clients to plan and coordinate a complete care program tailored to their specific needs, lifestyle, preferences, and goals.
“Whether it is assistance with daily activities such as showering and cooking or more specialised nursing care, our integrated approach ensures residents can stay, feel, and live well at home, regardless of age or stage of life,” Ms Fuller said.
“Our integrated approach is made possible by a dedicated team of professionals that include personal carers, registered nurses, and allied health professionals.”
In expressing her enthusiasm for the new partnership, One to Another’s Village Manager Sandra Doolan said Silverchain “perfectly complements” the needs of One to Another’s residents.
