This digital strategy is underpinned by modernisation principles which enables us to streamline our ways of working together and with our clients and partners, build flexible new technologies that make caring for clients easier and simpler.

Having previously pioneered the ComCare system, which has been used by health and aged care providers across Australia for many years, we are well placed to develop this technology.

Our people are helping to shape the new digital systems, which have been developed with input from our employees, user champions, consumer advisory groups, clients and external experts to ensure the new digital systems will be fit for purpose.

During 2022-23, SuccessFactors, our new human resources portal, came online allowing us to improve our internal recruitment and development processes.  

We built and piloted elements of our new Electronic Care Record (ECR) to test and enhance the final model – which will be piloted in early 2024. The ECR will allow us to improve the way we record client information and integrate with hospitals and the Department of Health and Aged Care to improve clinical handover while maintaining security and patient confidentiality.

Data privacy, information security and cybersecurity remain a high priority for us, as we continue to uplift our best practice security capabilities – maintaining and enhancing existing technologies and processes to stay ahead of new threats. Ongoing security reviews of our IT systems, data and infrastructure are regularly conducted and a comprehensive cyber response plan is in place to mitigate risk.
