Silverchain is committed to environmental sustainability, reducing our carbon footprint and promoting eco-friendly practices in our operations.

How we’re becoming greener

We want to reduce our impact on the environment and are focusing on:

• Increase our uptake of renewable energy sources
• Proactively monitoring and optimising our environmental impact using data tracking platforms and dashboards.

Making a difference

We’re already taking steps to reduce our impact including:

• Installing solar panel systems at several of our service bases and investigating the feasibility at our other sites.
• Implementing an organics trial that diverted over three tonnes of food waste from landfill in just over six months.  
• Recycling old uniforms to avoid them ending up in landfill.
