Silver Links: building a legacy of care
Silver Links are a special group of supporters who are creating better health and aged care for future generations with a gift in their Will.
The name ‘Silver Links’ highlights the importance of this generosity to Silverchain. In 1905, Muriel Chase – a journalist at the Western Mail – invited the community to join a special league of ‘Silver Links’ to help vulnerable children. As a result, these Silver Links became the Silver Chain League, the beginning of our commitment to care.
There are many ways to leave a lasting impact through a Gift in Will. The late Dr Krishna Somers is a generous Silver Link who devoted his life to medicine and helping others. Wanting to build a legacy of better health and aged care, Dr Somers set up a Trust to continue to support the causes he cared deeply for.
Silverchain is incredibly grateful to receive support from the Dr Krishna Somers Charitable Trust. If you would like to learn more about making a meaningful impact with a gift in your Will, please email Bequests@silverchain.org.au or call 1300 650 803.
