With Silverchain you can self fund any or all your in home health and/or aged care services according to your needs and budget. Our self funded model of care provides you and your loved ones with greater flexibility and choice, with no wait lists, tests or government assessments. Private in home care enables you to receive services whether you are using government subsidised funding for aged care or not.

You can choose to use private services for a range of situations, these include:

• After a fall or visit to the hospital.
• For short term care while your family or carer is away.
• While waiting for an assessment or to receive your government subsidised aged care services.
• For extra services on top of what’s included in your Home Care Package (or government subsidised package funding).
• If you’re not eligible for or do not want to access government subsidised aged care services.
